| This is just a small selection of popular cam profiles for this engine. Auckland Camshafts Limited carries a much wider range of profiles that suit this application. Please contact Auckland Cams if you require a different profile. Please note: Performance profile stage 1 can be ground on existing cams but will reduce the base circle of the cam lobes and requires shimming of the buckets to correct valve clearances. New billets with stage 1 grind will not require shimming and retain original standard 32.00 mm base circle diameter. New billets with stage 2 or 3 grinds will require a reduction in base circle diameter to 31.00 mm and require shimming. This reduction in base circle is done to achieve correct contact area with valve bucket. |
